Dr. Wang Xiao-yi, was born in Shanxi in 1975. Received the Ph.D. degree in control theory and control engineering from Beijing Institute of Technology in 2003. Professor of School of Computer and Information Engineering, Beijing Technology and Business University (BTBU) of China, director of Office of BTBU. Hold many concurrent posts such as the 8th committee member of Beijing Association for Science and Technology, the council member of Beijing Association of Automation. Been selected to Beijing Star of Science and Technology and Talent Plan of Municipal Colleges and Universities in 2010.

Mainly engaged in research work in the field of water resources protection. Hosted multiple projects of the provincial level. Published more than 100 academic papers. Applied for more than 20 national invention patents. Been awarded Science and Technology Progress Award by Chinese Association for Artificial Intelligence in 2011. The research results made a positive contribution to promote the progress of technology of water resources protection in China.
