Dr. Caolihong was born in 1965. She received the B.E. degree and Master degree in mechanical design from Beijing Light Industry University, China, in 1985 and 1991, and the Ph.D. degree in production and Information Systems Engineering from Muroran Institute of Technology, Japan, in 1997.

From 1985 to 1991, she engaged in the design of beer packaging line equipment and developing CAD system at Guangdong Light Industry Machinery Company. During that time, she has taken part in design of sterilization machine, filling machine, labeling machine and conveyor system. From 1997 to 2001she worked at DYNAX Co.kLtd., Japan at QA department, was resposible of friction disk for GM, FORD, BENZ, VOLVE and BMW. In 2003 she entered Beijing Technology and Business University. Since then on she has engaged in teaching and researching at business automation and automatic identification field, in addtion, she was interested in constructing automatic trading system.
